Self Care with An Environmental Twist: How Nia Wilson Is Making Sustainable Wellness Accessible to Her Community


At just 23, Nia Wilson is already shifting the conversation around self-care with her brand, The Natural Elixir, LLC. Focused on clean, non-toxic bath and beauty products, The Natural Elixir is more than skincare—it’s a lifestyle rooted in mental well-being and self-love.


Every product is made with intention, balancing sustainability with self-indulgence to support wellness from the inside out. Guided by the motto “Self Love and Self Confidence through the act of Self Care,” Nia’s mission is clear: to help others slow down, feel good, and reconnect with themselves—one thoughtful ritual at a time.


Fellowship Experience

Nia’s journey during the fellowship was filled with learning how to tell her brand story. As a self-care business, Nia found it important to ensure people knew that this business was intentional and much more than products, but also a space for mental health and climate justice. She also explored ways to change her product packaging into sustainable packaging. 

When she first started the fellowship, Nia wanted to learn more about how businesses can focus on people as opposed to profit. As she exited the fellowship, Nia’s perspective shifted to putting people first in a business as she created her climate justice business plan and connected with local vendor groups in Atlanta.

Current Work & Post Fellowship

Post fellowship, Nia has become a member of Gurl 2 Girl, a marketplace vendor group that empowers women-owned businesses and collaboration. Nia is committed to creating in-person events where women can focus on mental health and self-care while learning about The Natural Elixir and the changes she has made to her product packaging to help the planet.
