About the event
Girl Plus Environment is thrilled to host our Protecting Our Energy Workshop Series. The Protecting our Energy Project works to educate, engage, and empower Black and Brown women and non-binary individuals to become more aware of the impacts of energy burden and how we can lower our energy bills, engage in Georgia’s Energy Planning Process, and feel empowered to advocate for clean energy initiatives that prioritize the needs of low-income Black and Brown communities.
During this fun, 3-part series, we'll have the opportunity to learn about how we can prevent Georgia Power from raising our energy bills, apply for bill assistance programs, and hear from amazing guest speakers advocating for energy equity in our communities. We'll have giveaways, music, photo ops, and more!
