Cassandre Arkema is a digital strategist, web developer, communicator, and founder of The Algorithm Witch, demystifying how systems of visibility shape collective action online. Her work focuses on climate communication, audience growth strategy, digital infrastructure, analytics, and performance-driven storytelling across advocacy and nonprofit spaces. She has supported organizations across clean energy, climate justice, and public engagement through communications strategy, content systems, campaign development, and educational storytelling. Cassan’s work bridges platform strategy with movement-building, helping organizations translate complex issues into narratives that expand participation and deepen community connection. Her writing and research examine how recommendation systems, search, and social platforms influence trust in the digital age.

Dr. Ashley Carmenia

Dr. Ashley Carmenia is a seasoned public health leader and equity advocate with over a decade of experience advancing community-centered solutions in population and women’s health that has been recognized by USA Today, CDC, and NACCHO. With diverse programmatic experience, she brings a system-level approach to addressing the social, environmental, and structural factors that shape health and opportunity in black and brown communities. She has led and supported initiatives across maternal and child health, chronic disease prevention, workforce development, and community-based education -- translating equity-focused research and policy into programs that are community-rooted, sustainable, and impact-driven. Dr. Carmenia is committed to strengthening community partnerships, educating, and ensuring that women+ are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to steward their environments and lead transformational change. Her leadership emphasizes collaboration, cultural humility, and accountability—grounded in the belief that environmental justice and gender equity are inseparable. Dr. Carmenia holds a Doctor of Health Science with a specialization in Rural Health from Campbell University and a MPH from the University of New England.

Teresa Evans-Hunter

Teresa Evans-Hunter brings over 20 years of non-profit management expertise to her passionate advocacy for a more sustainable and equitable world. Throughout her leadership roles at national and international trade associations, she has demonstrably impacted financial management, the creation of impactful education programs, and the cultivation of strong stakeholder relationships. Her dedication is further evident in her service on numerous boards and task forces supporting youth, the unhoused, and the association management sector. With a strong academic foundation including a BS in Economics from Florida A&M University, an MS in Non-Profit Management, and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Teresa is particularly invested in empowering girls to engage with environmental issues, believing this will foster a generation of powerful advocates for our planet. In her personal time, Teresa enjoys gardening, reading, and playing golf.

Diamond is the founder and executive director of Girl Plus Environment, where she inspires women of color to champion climate and environmental justice. Growing up in Detroit shaped her mission to dismantle health, racial, and environmental inequities in communities of color. With over a decade in the sector, Diamond is a two-time TEDx speaker, author, and award-winning activist. Her recognitions include the Yale New Horizons in Conservation Award (2021, 2022), Young Nonprofit Professionals 30 Under 30 (2022), and 40 Under 40 Young Gifted and Green (2023). Her work includes collaborations with Bloomberg Associates, CDC, WaterAid International, and the City of Atlanta, where she serves on the Clean Energy Advisory Board. She is also a 2024 Tom’s of Maine Incubator Awardee, NRDC E2 1Hotels Fellow, and Aspen Institute Future Leader Climate Fellow. Diamond is a sought-after speaker, with engagements at the United Nations, The Academies, Microsoft, and Hasbro. Her work has been featured in Essence, Inc. Magazine, and 1Hotels, reflecting her ongoing commitment to advancing environmental justice and creating lasting change.

Kiya Stanford is an Atlanta native and Georgia Peach through and through who developed her passion for justice and equity in the home of the Civil Rights Movement. She is a passionate advocate and organizer dedicated to creating equitable and sustainable communities. With extensive experience at the intersection of environmental and social justice, she brings a unique blend of grassroots organizing and strategic leadership to her work. Kiya has worked on local, state, and national campaigns to increase civic engagement and advocate for environmental and social causes. As an organizer and content creator with organizations such as Care in Action, New Georgia Project, Moms Clean Air Force, and the League of Conservation Voters, she has led efforts to amplify marginalized voices, mobilize communities, and advance policies that address systemic inequities. Her work has focused on building coalitions, empowering underserved populations, and driving change in areas where environmental and social justice intersect. Kiya is deeply committed to fostering collective action and creating initiatives that inspire communities to address the challenges of climate change, economic inequality, and social equity. Through her work, she aims to build a more inclusive and sustainable future for the next generation.
